On your way home you realize you told her all about yourself and learned nothing about her.
The next time you visit the library she’s not there. You ask around. Turns out she isn’t a janitor, she was mopping the floor for fun. She just does things like that, they say. You haven’t seen her before? She’s Aliandra’s, uh, friend.

Corpus Dei, the backbone and protector of what remains of the human kind, home to the divine-filled Halo as well as the men and women who've heard the call of priesthood - and of course the empty ones who will become red priests if Helion sees them fit. Corpus Dei manifests as four major monasteries and countless town churches. The red priests patrol the borders of Oia to protect its people from stray gods. It's not easy to fall through the safety net of the church.
the people of the Caravan
The Caravan is infamous for clinging onto the last bits of the old world. The people who call themselves "Archivists" use witchcraft to forcefully keep ancestral gods alive and sit on information that in wrong hands might lead to another apocalypse. After decades of unsuccessful attempts at forging mutual understanding Oia was forced to shut down the connections to the Caravan. Many say it's only for the best - they feel more at ease now that the receiving of dubious goods such as metals has halted.
